About US

     

We are a trusted provider of residential services in Washington State, delivering high-quality, person-centered support that promotes independence, dignity, and community inclusion. Through MHSL Supported Living Services and The Assisted Living AFH, we serve individuals in partnership with the Developmental Disabilities Administration, focusing on individualized care and total well-being.

Our Mission

  Our mission is to advocate and support participants to achieve total wellbeing; high life satisfaction, a sense of meaning and purpose, exercise their rights, happiness, manage stress, community inclusion and enjoy life.

Our Philosophy

 

We provide person-centered services that promote independence and community engagement. Our staff are trained and supported to make a meaningful impact, with a strong focus on continuous development.

We are a military-owned organization, led by a founder currently serving in the United States Army, who started his career in this field as a House Manager—bringing firsthand experience and leadership to our mission.

Our Founder

  

 

Adams Gumah Kelley (GKA) is the founder of Mygumah Health Supported Living, with extensive experience in human services supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He began his career as a Residential/House Manager, gaining hands-on leadership experience.

He has worked closely with the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) and has supported providers in establishing residential services. Adams also served with World Vision International, supporting vulnerable children and families.

Adams currently serves in the United States Army Reserve, guided by strong values of leadership and service.

He holds an MBA, MSc in Project Management, and MPH, along with a Paralegal Certificate, a background in Cybersecurity, and nursing education. He is currently pursuing a law degree and remains committed to delivering high-quality, person-centered care.
